Prof. Dr. Selçuk İnanlı was born in 1966 in Fatsa, Turkey. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Istanbul. In 1989, he graduated from Istanbul University, Çapa Faculty of Medicine. After completing his compulsory medical service, he began his residency in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Marmara University and became a specialist in 1995. Following his mandatory military service, he started working as a specialist in the same department at Marmara University. He was appointed Assistant Professor in 1999 and Associate Professor in 2002.

In 2004, he served as an observer in the Department of Facial Plastic Surgery at Harvard University. In 2007, he was promoted to Full Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Marmara University. His primary fields of interest are facial plastic surgery and rhinoplasty.
